Recovery Spot

Addiction Treatment in New York City

The Recovery Spot Addiction TreatmentRecovery Spot NY was founded by two physicians: Ramesh Sawhney, M.D. – Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist, and Scott Bienenfeld, M.D. – Addiction Psychiatrist, on a mission to improve the delivery of healthcare to people suffering from Addiction, Mental Health Issues and Chronic Pain as they recognized emerging patterns in shared patients over years of collaboration. Taking the next step of designing a comprehensive model of treatment protocols encapsulated into a single program was the product of an organic evolution, as there is a tragic void in providing effective, sustainable substance abuse treatment- compounded by a lack of outlets that cultivate and foster true long-term recovery.

Embracing the latest medical and therapeutic innovations and practices, the two doctors teamed up to open The Recovery Spot, providing cutting edge treatment to redefine not only what it means to be in recovery, but to reframe the whole context of addiction. Leading with a medical foundation, The Recovery Spot utilizes offers comprehensive, individualized treatment which is all too often lacking on the current provider landscape. Dr. Sawhney and Dr. Bienenfeld have assembled a team of licensed clinicians, certified recovery coaches, and holistic practitioners who are seasoned professionals dedicated to helping those in need.

At The Recovery Spot, we firmly believe that recovery is not possible with a “one-size-fits-all” model- we specialize in tailoring care to meet the individual’s needs. Dr. Sawhney and Dr. Bienenfeld truly believe in meeting the client ‘where they are’ as the first step of the journey to get them where they need to be.
