Ramesh Sawhney, M.D., Pain Management Specialist

Dr. Ramesh Sawhney is an anesthesiologist and pain management specialist. He is certified by the American Society of Addiction Medicine and a member of The Society for the Study of Addiction. In his more than three decades of practice he has helped literally thousands of patients reclaim pain-free lives. As a long-time proponent of Ayurvedic Medicine, a 5000-year-old system of natural healing, he seeks to incorporate more holistic healing methods with his patient’s traditional treatments.


Scott Bienenfeld, M.D., Addiction Psychiatrist

Scott Bienenfeld, M.D. is an Addiction Psychiatrist who has been in practice since 2001. He is board certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry and certified by both the American Society of Addiction Medicine and The American Board of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Bienenfeld is a consultant to both The National Basketball Association (NBA) and Major League Baseball (MLB). He specializes in treating patients with addictive and co-occurring disorders. Dr. Bienenfeld provides individual therapy and also runs relapse-prevention groups.

 


Peter Grayson, LCDP, Director of Programming & Business Development

Peter’s main objective is to stay on the forefront of the treatment landscape while utilizing state of the art, evidence-based modalities. His therapeutic focus has been on cultivating passions in life, feeling connected to things outside of us, sense of mindful purpose, and most importantly, gratitude. Peter is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Professional. He provides individual and group counseling in addition to facilitating the healing of the family unit and maintaining healthy relationships as an integral component of treatment.

 


Suhadee Henriquez, LCSW, Clinical Director

Suhadee specializes in helping clients return to a state of overall functionality. Her focus is to help those struggling with: daily stressors, depression/anxiety, relationship difficulties, chronic pain, and problems associated with certain life stages (e.g. career, college, ). She is an expert at Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and she also manages issues related to: eating issues, substance abuse, and self-injurious behaviors. Specializes in helping people overcome their fears of flying – as a trained flight attendant, she is widely known as “The Flying Psychotherapist”!

 


Todd Uresse

Todd Uresse is a CCAR Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, and CCAR trained in S.M.A.R.T, CRAFT and the Harm Reduction models of Recovery. In addition to being in long term recovery himself, he is the Chairman of TenaflyCAP which is a Municipal Alliances responsible for raising awareness of the dangers of Underage drinking and Drug Use. Todd also is a founding member of Bergen Counties O.O.R.P. Program. This pilot program delivers peer recovery specialists to over dose victims in local Emergency Rooms following the administration of NARCAN.

 


Patrick Roff MA, LCADC, CPRS, CPP,  Director of Peer Recovery Services

Patrick is a Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC), a Professor of Philosophy and of Addiction Peer Recovery. He has worked in clinical, government, professional and peer driven environments. Official author of the NJ CPRS curriculum and its primary trainer. Patrick is a CUNY Certified Philosophical Practitioner (CPP) and uses his life experience combined with the wisdom of the ancients to inform his own recovery journey and his recovery work with others.

 


Ben Kimmel

Ben is a Certified Professional Life Coach, Sober and Recovery Coach with nearly more than 26 years of sobriety. He is a Recovery Specialist for one of North New Jersey’s Opioid Overdose Reversal Program and also an ordained minister through the Universal Life Church. A Speaker for High School program  “Not Even Once”, which educates students about life with addiction as well as recovery. He also runs an outreach program called Breakfast with Benny Sunday mornings at at the Hackensack Homeless Shelter.
